Is Ferofemin suitable if there is a vitamin D deficiency?
Ferofemin contains vitamin D3 4000 IU (100 µg) per capsule together with iron, making it suitable for women who lack both iron and vitamin D. If vitamin D deficiency is confirmed in tests, consult a doctor or pharmacist regarding the dose and duration of the course.
Why is vitamin D especially important in winter?
In Latvia, from October to April, there is not enough sunlight for the skin to produce enough vitamin D on its own, so vitamin D usually needs to be taken additionally in winter. Ferofemin combines it with iron in one capsule.
How does Ferofemin differ from regular vitamin D3 capsules?
